The Lost Soul Movie Poster / Photo Manipulation

OBJECTIVE To come up with a movie title and create a poster for the movie. use variations of photoshop techniques, such as photo manipulation. PROCESS I began this project by researching horror genre movies, which led me to come up with the title “The Lost Soul.” Once I had the name, I decided to analyze the movie’s core idea, which revolves around a girl being abducted in a forest during her daily walk. Gathering all the necessary assets, primarily photography, I started by colour-grading the forest to create a darker environment, enhancing the horror feel visually. Then, I masked the main subject to give the impression that she’s floating mid-air as she’s being abducted, and added a light ray beaming down with particles to create a more immersive effect.
